NEW YORK—Dillards Inc. said it sold $50.6 million worth in jewelry online in the first quarter of this year.
Dillds Chief Executive Officer Doug Olliffe said the company has sold about $1.4 billion worth of the company’s online jewelry sales.
The jewelry sales, which include its flagship collection, represent a 10 percent jump from the same quarter a year earlier, he said.
The company has about 4,000 online retailers in the United States and Canada.
The jewelry sales were included in the company, which has about 5,000 employees in the U.S. and about 4 million in the world.
Dilards said its jewelry business has grown by 10 percent year-over-year and by 25 percent in the quarter.
Olliff said it had grown by 1.8 percent in China and India, and 2.6 percent in Japan.
